Social Skills Programs
Building connections and friendships
What are Social Skills Programs?
Our social skills programs help children develop the skills they need to interact successfully with peers and adults. Many children with special needs struggle with social understanding, communication, and building relationships. Our programs provide structured opportunities to learn and practice these essential skills in a supportive environment.

Skills We Teach
- Conversation Skills: Starting conversations, taking turns, asking questions, and listening
- Friendship Building: Making friends, maintaining relationships, and resolving conflicts
- Social Understanding: Reading social cues, understanding perspectives, and empathy
- Emotional Intelligence: Recognizing emotions in others and responding appropriately
- Play Skills: Engaging in cooperative play and group activities
- Problem-Solving: Handling disagreements and social challenges constructively

Our Approach
We use evidence-based social skills curricula and provide opportunities for real-world practice. Our programs combine direct instruction, role-playing, games, and structured social activities. We work in both individual and small group settings, allowing children to practice skills with peers in a safe, supportive environment.

Program Formats
- Individual sessions focused on specific social goals
- Small group sessions (2-4 children) for peer practice
- Social skills workshops and structured activities
- Integration with academic tutoring when appropriate
