Standard sessions are 60 minutes long. We can adjust session length based on your child's needs, attention span, and goals. Shorter sessions (30-45 minutes) are available for younger children or those who need shorter focus periods.

What are your rates?

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts for families with multiple children, siblings enrolled in programs, and long-term commitments. Contact us to discuss discount options that work for your family.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept e-Transfer, credit card payments (via Stripe), and bank drafts. Payment plans are also available for families who need flexible payment options.

Do you provide receipts for insurance?

Yes, we provide detailed receipts for all services that can be submitted to your insurance provider or used for tax purposes. Please check with your insurance provider regarding coverage for educational and therapeutic services.

When is payment due?

Payment must be completed prior to session confirmation. For package deals, payment is typically due at the beginning of each package period. We can discuss payment plans if needed.

What programs do you offer?

We offer one-on-one tutoring, group learning sessions, behavioral support, speech and language development, life skills coaching, homework assistance, online tutoring, and early intervention programs. Each program is customized to your child's needs.

How do you personalize the learning plan?

We begin with a comprehensive assessment of your child's strengths, challenges, learning style, and goals. Based on this assessment, we create an individualized learning plan that addresses their specific needs and builds on their strengths.

Can sessions be scheduled flexibly?

Yes, we work with families to find scheduling that works for everyone. We offer sessions during mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with both weekday and weekend availability. Online sessions offer even more flexibility.

What materials or resources do you use?

We use evidence-based materials and resources tailored to each child's learning style and needs. This may include multisensory tools, visual aids, interactive activities, and assistive technology. We also have a resource library available for purchase.

How do you track progress?

We maintain detailed session notes and progress reports that are shared with parents. We track goals, milestones, and areas of improvement. Parents can access progress information through our parent portal (coming soon).

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that circumstances may arise. While all sessions are non-refundable once booked, we work with families on a case-by-case basis for rescheduling when possible. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

What happens if my child misses a session?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Missed sessions without notice may not be eligible for rescheduling. We understand emergencies happen and will work with you.

Is there a contract or commitment required?

No long-term contracts are required. You can book single sessions or choose from our flexible packages. We believe in building trust and relationships, so you can continue services as long as they benefit your child.

How do you ensure privacy and confidentiality?

We take privacy and confidentiality very seriously. All information about your child is kept strictly confidential. We follow all privacy regulations and only share information with your explicit consent. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

What special needs do you support?

We support children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, learning disabilities, emotional regulation challenges, social skills deficits, speech and language delays, and other developmental differences. We work with each child's unique needs.

Do you work with children who have IEPs?

Yes, we work closely with schools and families to support children with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). We can help implement IEP goals and provide additional support to complement school-based services.

How do you handle behavioral challenges during sessions?

We use positive behavioral support strategies and create a calm, structured environment. Our approach focuses on understanding the underlying causes of behaviors and teaching appropriate alternatives. We work with families to develop consistent strategies.

Can you coordinate with other therapists or professionals?

Yes, we believe in a collaborative approach. With your permission, we can coordinate with your child's teachers, therapists, doctors, and other professionals to ensure consistent support across all settings.

What if my child has severe behavioral or medical needs?

We work with children with a wide range of needs. During our initial consultation, we'll assess whether we can provide appropriate support. If your child's needs exceed our scope, we'll help you find appropriate resources and referrals.
